I graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in Fort Worth. After spending my final semester as a visiting student of the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, I remained in the Sacramento area where I began working for the Chastaine Law Office in Folsom, California. As an associate attorney at The Chastaine Law Office, I practiced criminal defense and personal injury law with Michael Chastaine, a prominent Northern California trial attorney. I also became a Central California Appellate Project (CCAP) panel attorney, appointed by the Courts of Appeal for the Third and Fifth Districts to represent people on appeal who have been convicted of felony offenses. In the summer of 2013, I moved to beautiful Sonoma County and opened my own law practice in Santa Rosa, California, focusing on criminal defense—both trials and appeals. I later had the privilege of becoming a legal consultant for the North Bay Regional Center, a non-profit organization that provides services to people with developmental disabilities. I work very hard to help each client achieve the best possible outcome in his or her unique case. I’m thorough and vigilant. And I take great pride in crafting creative arguments and developing innovative legal strategies.
